September 01, 2008 - Happy Labor Day! Hurricane Gustav is threatening our friends in the
south. Our thoughts are with them. September usually means that our "August Siesta" is
over, and we are starting to venture out into the show rings again. Good luck to all of you
who are out there promoting our breed. We have added a Journey Jacket to our "On Sale
Now" page. This jacket along with the Micro Fleece Jacket is great for fall weather. Place
your order now to get them in time for that "oh so desired" cooler weather. Don't forget to
take a moment and read our "Featured Article" for September, you won't be disappointed.
Our gracious members truly put their hearts into these articles.
September 07, 2008 - Hurricanes Gustav and Hanna have come and gone, we are now
awaiting news on Ike and Josephine. The club is currently discussing an entry fee increase.
With the cost of everything else going up, this was expected. Our club members are
faithfully submitting their candid Boxer photographs to decorate the pages of our web site -
October is going to be a fun month!
September 21, 2008 - Nominations for our club based Boxers of Merit/Excellence Program
are beginning to trickle in. We are proud of our club members who are striving to promote
their Boxers.
September 27, 2008 - The club members are currently voting by internet poll on entry fee
increases. We are confident that we will do what is right for the club while keeping the
exhibitors in mind.
September 28, 2008 - Top Ten has been updated to reflect the current UKC posted
rankings.
